"I tested the dictionary Spanish-German from Paragon Software for several months. Almost every word I looked for I found it, and within the optional meanings I always found one that makes sense with the text I was reading. One of the difficulties with German is that gender for nouns does not correspond to the gender of the equivalent nouns in Spanish (of course, impossible from the English equivalents); therefore, in the process of learning you have to memorize the gender of every noun. The dictionary is very helpful in this regard, since every noun in the dictionary is accompanied by the gender-associated article. It is nice that I could have in my Palm a dictionary which I feel is even better than the pocket dictionary I used to use, but more importantly, I could find words in an instant (actually, you do not need to write the complete word you are looking for, since you can get your word in a list before you finish writing it!), and is very easy to change from Spanish-German to German-Spanish, which is very useful when you want to translate exactly the same idea from one language to another.
